The Qunyi Vocational and Technical School in Minhang has admitted 150 students from the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region of northwestern China. The students will remain at the school for three years. They begin by participating in a monthlong military drill for freshmen. The students are expected to return to their home region after finishing their vocational training.
