Out-patient section of new hospital branch opens

The out-patient department of Renji Hospital on Lianhang Road recently opened to expand services to residents in Pujiang Town.
Covering an area of 7 hectares, the new hospital has a total of 600 patient beds. The project is set to be fully finished by the end of 2011.
The out-patient department, the first put into full operation, offers gynecology, pediatrics, surgery and many other services with a team of more than 40 doctors and experts.
In addition, the hospital has a pharmaceutical preparation room, a clinical laboratory and an electro-cardiographic room.
Renji Hospital currently has three outlets, the old western one in Puxi area and the eastern branch in Pudong New Area. The southern branch is the newest addition to the city's clinical map.
