THE Minhang administration responsible for cityscape in the district has issued a series of regulations related to the management of public spaces, especially parks. According to the regulations, various measures will be undertaken to ensure that Minhang's parks are clean and convenient for visitors.
Among the new rules, automobile traffic will be banned from parks, maintenance and cleaning will be scheduled in off-peak hours, and free water, umbrellas, emergency medical assistance and map-rental services will be provided for park visitors. Besides that, facilities will be made available for disabled people, reading areas will be created and weekly meetings to consult neighborhood residents on flower planting will also be held.
