Plaza appeal gets a boost with new brand shops
ZHONGSHENG Plaza is a business landmark in Xinzhuang and its appeal has recently been enhanced by the introduction of new retail shops. The big names include Bestbuy, Shanghai Film Group CGV and B&Q.
The plaza is no longer dull. Especially on weekday nights and weekends it is a mecca for shoppers around the area.
Over 80 percent of the booths on the second floor are now open, most of them selling clothes. Another wave of restaurants has settled on the fourth floor, like Pankoo, Pan Gu Barbecue and Onion Restaurant.
"Currently 60 percent of spaces in the plaza are open as expected. By the end of this year there will be another 15 to 20 percent coming in," says Liu Fuqun, vice manager of Shanghai Zhongsheng World Plaza Co Ltd.
