MINHANG police recently raided 11 barbers shops and foot massage sites during an anti-pornography crackdown in the Expo Home Garden residential community. The raid came after a tip that some of the establishments were involved in sex-trade-related activities. Forty-nine people were detained. The residential complex on Jiangyan Road was built for residents who were relocated to make room for the World Expo Shanghai 2010 site.
