Public health center set to open

THE Second Community Public Health Service Center now under construction in Xinzhuang Town will be officially opened in the first half of this year.
Located in the northwestern community of Shanghai Kangcheng, the 10 million yuan (US$1.6 million) center is being built by the Xinzhuang township government.
It will serve 19,000 households.
The center will feature a full-service clinic, outpatient services, radiology, women's health care and a transfusion department.
Once opened, the center will operate Monday through Friday, with hours extended to weekends as demand develops.
