A group of Minhang experts visited Zepu County in the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region of far northwestern China to give lectures on development of the rural economy and culture. More than 200 Zepu officials attended the lectures. Minhang has been paired with Zepu under a national program to help underdeveloped areas. It was the fifth team of Minhang experts sent to Zepu.
