LABOR authorities in Minhang are reminding job applicants to beware of recruitment scams at illegal agencies. This is a peak period for hiring scams because of the large numbers of migrant workers returning from trips home for the Spring Festival, they said.Those seeking work are advised to ask for the identification of go-between agents working for recruitment agencies and non-profit job service centers. They are also being told to submit copies of certificates rather than the original versions and to report any irregularities to the labor services hotline at 12333.
