MINHANG District and Pudong New Area have been honored as representative areas of scientific technology development at the recent 2009 annual meeting of Minhang Science Association. High-tech industrial zones and the various scientific activities of ordinary people are believed to have led Minhang to the award. It was also the first time that districts of Shanghai had been so honored at a national level.
