THE campaign to recruit more young volunteers to scoop up floating rubbish along the Wujing Park section of the Huangpu riverbank has disappointed organizers. Only one person applied. Recruiters said many people don't volunteer because the park is far from their homes and it's difficult to commit to the project on a regular basis.
