The Jiangchuan community invited volunteers from Shanghai Jiao Tong University to teach elderly residents how to use digital devices. Some 60 senior citizens attended the class to learn about WiFi, WeChat and video calls. Volunteers helped the elderly set up public accounts that give them access to information sources and to food-delivery and online shopping services.
