THE Minhang branch of the Agricultural Bank of China has teamed up with Expresspay Card to provide non-contact point-of-sale terminals for merchants at the Huayou Food Market. Residents will be able to buy vegetables by swiping their bank cards. Currently, 82 merchants at the market have installed the terminals. If successful, the new system will be expanded district-wide.
