WINNERS of a local talent show in the Meilong area are presenting free performances in local residential complexes, schools, shops and senior citizen centers.
Liu Jinqi, one of the winners, opened a free class teaching residents how to sing songs, and Zhang Shuping, the first-prize winner, showed off his diabolo skills while delivering free lunches to senior citizens. Diabolo is a juggling stunt involving a whirling spool on a string tied to two sticks, one held in each hand. Zhang said he plans to open a free diabolo class in the future.
