MORE than 50 students from Minhang Middle School built the longest plastic toy train track in the world, earning themselves a place in the Guinness Book of Records. The track, composed of 13,769 assembly parts, stretched 2.9 kilometers and took more than four months to complete. It beat the previous Guinness record, set in Japan, by 20 percent.
