Tree adoption enhances park

A "Tree Adoption" program has been launched in Minhang. Locals who adopt saplings can enjoy free boat rides and bike rides in the Minhang Sports Park.
The 10,000 trees for adoption will be planted in the park's northwest and include gingkos and camphors.
Adopting a tree costs from 365 yuan (US$53.7) to 1,500 yuan. The first 30 to apply can have a 20 percent discount.
People who adopt trees can also enjoy free admission to concerts, exhibitions and sporting events in the park.
