AN official team from the Minhang District government recently visited a resettlement community in Meilong Town to see if the facilities were built to standard and residents' expectations had been met.
The government is hoping to complete the relocation of families to 5,200 units in the project before Spring Festival, which starts on February 10.
When the three-phased project, which opened last year, is completed, it will house 3,600 families displaced by urban development.
