Walking just got easier in business hub

AFTER two years of construction, a sky corridor at the Nanfang business hub will be open at the end of the month.
The 1,229-meter corridor involves five sky bridges that connect the Friendship Nanfang Shopping Center, Bailian Nanfang Shopping Mall, Lotus International Shopping Mall and City Center business complex. It is linked with the Metro station and underground parking lots, and is equipped with elevators and soundproof baffles.
Walking from the Lianhua Road Metro station to City Center business complex used to take 20 minutes and involve waiting at several traffic lights. The corridor now provides 200-meter access to the nearest office block and a 10-minute walk to a shopping mall.
