The district is installing 150 safety devices to prevent people from falling into inspection wells if the covers are lost in bad weather or stolen. The safety disks can each bear a weight of up to 150 kilograms. Installation started in September and will be completed by the end of the year. The district drainage administration also said it would do daily maintenance checks of inspection well covers.
