Work starts on Qibao Green

QIBAO Green, a large-scale green belt, started construction early this month. The first 2,560 trees including ginkgo and camphor were planted on this year's Arbor Day on March 12.
Located near the Outer Ring Road (A20) and the Wuzhong Road, the 83-hectare green belt, as big as the Minhang Sports Park, is a vital part of the district's ecological project.
The project with a total investment of 3.4 billion yuan (US$523 million) features a museum, a recreational center, an exhibition hall, a folk art cultural showcase and a huge swathe of public green belt.
