LIAO Yijing, a student at the Minhang No. 2 High School, won the district’s Young Thomas Edisons invention competition. The event received 84 inventions from high schools and primary schools in the district. Liao triumphed over four other finalists with her creation of “intelligent pens” that alert people to bad writing posture.
