Campaign promotes entrepreneurship
PUTUO District wants more individuals to open their own businesses and is offering support and encouragement to budding entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs face many challenges when starting a business. These may include hovering costs, financing and finding the projects and locations, as well as unreasonable customers and finding ways to promote their products.
A consulting team comprising several district administrations including the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, Industry and Commerce Bureau along with volunteers has been assembled to provide interested entrepreneurs with start-up instructions in registration, tax, law, employment, management and marketing.
The campaign will target different groups throughout the year.
From April to June, young entrepreneurs will be the focus while college graduates will be in the spotlight from July to September.
