Daduhe Rd spruced up with trees and plants
DADUHE Road will get a green face-lift, part of the district's "Beautiful Putuo" greenery and landscaping campaign.
According to the district's landscape planning office, the makeover will start from Taopu Road in the north and extend to Jinshajiang Road in the south. The total length of the new green zone will be 3.2 kilometers. The blueprint calls for 850 tress to be planted along the road with a total area of 48,161 square meters.
The project includes creating a central green island, which will have two levels, and public green zones alongside the road. A variety of plants and bushes will be planted in the green areas.
Four gardens - Chuanhe, Caidie, Nujiang and the green zone outside the east wall on Daduhe Road - will create an overall structural landscape, each with distinguishing features.
Residents will begin noticing the changes along Daduhe Road in May.
