District honors campaign stars

PUTUO District organized a ceremony on May 9 to present awards to outstanding teams and individuals from local police forces during the massive police campaign to crack down on traffic violations initiated from March 28.
District officials including deputy party secretary and acting district Governor Zhou Minhao, Deputy Party Secretary Luo Yongwei, head of district publicity department Sun Ping, and vice district governor and Director of District Public Security Bureau Zheng Wenbin attended the ceremony.
By the first week of May, there were 151,212 cases of traffic violations committed by road users. After the ceremony, the district officials visited Zhu Bin, a community policeman who was injured while trying to deal with traffic violation.
