Corridor draws fund
MORE than 40 investment projects totaling 5.2 billion yuan (US$771 million) have signed up for space in the new G60 Shanghai Songjiang Science and Tech Corridor.
The corridor is a project under the policy of creating “high-tech Songjiang” to replace “made in Songjiang.”
Among the companies coming into Songjiang are Google Adwords Shanghai Center, Honeywell and Dedao Capital.
At the same time, the Huachuang Club, Shanghai’s first group of high-tech projects to incubate smaller start-up companies, is also on its way.
It will cooperate with Tsinghua University.
In addition, a platform between Songjiang and the European Commerce Promotion Association will be set up to exchange technology work and patents.
So far, two Italian companies have been in negotiations with robot manufacturers in Dongjing Town High-Tech Park, according to local officials.
