Dream of music turned into an exciting reality
MUSICIANS and music fans have applauded the recent opening of the One Dream Music Center in Xinqiao Town.
It combines art institutions, recording studios, dance and rehearsal rooms, painting workshops, a flower shop and a music-themed restaurant and supermarket.
“Our recording studios offer advanced equipment and are open free to anyone who truly loves music,” said founder Feng Ji.
On the rooftop are 10 guest rooms available for visiting musicians who can’t afford mainstream accommodation.
One Dream will work in tandem with the Central Conservatory of Music and the Midi Club to train music teachers. Migrant children will be offered free lessons in music, dance and English at the center. Professional courses will also be conducted by teachers with experience choreographing and directing musicals and TV shows.
A restaurant and bar area features a huge central stage equipped with concert-level facilities for nightly performance by bands.
