Google center to aid businesses
GOOGLE, the world’s largest search engine, will open its first Shanghai Google Adwords Center in Songjiang later this year.
Google Adwords is a form of advertising that uses a system called “pay-per-click.” The advertiser pays for the ad only when someone clicks onto it.
Adwords, or “paid results,” are displayed on the right-hand side of the screen when you search specific terms and phrases on Google, and also on content-related sites within the Google content network.
The new 1,500-square-meter center will enable Songjiang-based enterprises to advertise their products on global markets.
According to an agreement signed earlier this month, the Google Adwords Shanghai Center will train at least 500 Songjiang-based companies and foster 2,000 e-commerce professionals, creating more than 3,000 jobs for the district.
Within three years, the center aims to provide international trading and marketing solutions for at least 200 Songjiang companies.
