SHANGHAI residents may be able to use helicopters to shuttle between the city and its neighboring provinces, and Songjiang has been chosen as one of the helipad sites. It will cost about 2,000 yuan per hour for a passenger to take a helicopter from stops in Shanghai, Shaoxing in Zhejiang Province, and Nanjing and Suzhou in Jiangsu Province. The helipad in Songjiang will include a terminal building, aprons and gas stations. It is designed to handle more than 60 helicopters.
