Happy Valley theme park is honoring women by extending the March 8 observances of Women’s Day to a month-long celebration.
As part of special events, ladies’ pillow fights will be held in the square of the Flying Cinema every weekend. For women who labor all week in offices and factories, it will be a chance to let off steam and let the feathers fly.
Every day in March, a Queen Show will take place at Sky Stage, with live bands, a fashion catwalk, magic performances and clown dances. Spectators will be invited on stage if they want to strut their stuff alongside the professionals.
Spring is the time of year when many women want to get in shape to wear lighter seasonal clothing.
Fitness trainers will be on hand during weekends to give tips on slimming down and showing body curves to advantage.

Hours: 10am–5pm on weekdays; 9:30am–5:30pm on weekends.
How to get there:
Take Metro Line 9 and get off at the Sheshan Hill Station. Take the free shuttle bus to the theme park.
Or take the G60 Highway and get off at the Songjiang exit.
Drive north along Jiasong Road for 200 meters and turn west on Shenzhuan Road.
