SONGJIANG’S roads are the city’s cleanest. The latest survey of Shanghai’s road cleaning and garbage collection ranked Songjiang first among the city’s 17 districts and county, with an overall score of 84.8 out of 100.
In the category of road cleaning alone, Songjiang ranked first with a score of 89.6. The rankings underscore the district’s investment in a cleaner environment. Every day teams of cleaners and motor sweepers work along the roadways. Trash is collected within 20 minutes.
