ROSES are just in the full blossom in the May days. The Chenshan Botanic Garden’s Rose Island has been blooming with various types of roses. Covering an area of 6,000 square meters, the island abundant in more than 500 rose types are the most popular site among visitors. The bright roses have climbed all over the arched door, which has been an excellent camera place for newly-wed couples to the park, while the tree roses, shaped like a fan, are as big as peony flowers. This year the island is added with over new 50 rose trees. Its two green houses are expanded with 4,000 square meters. The best viewing time is estimated to June.
