Bus line 4, for example, has opened an official Weixin account, allowing people to check when the next bus will arrive at the stop nearest them. In addition, those with time to wait can set a reminder on the account if they want to do some quick shopping nearby without missing the bus.
鈥淚n the past, it was a case of 鈥業鈥檓 waiting for the bus,鈥 but now people can say, 鈥榯he bus is waiting for me,鈥欌 said a spokesman from the Songjiang Traffic Transportation Management Bureau.
