THE Shanghai Chenshan Botanic Garden recently introduced five varieties of chili, tomato, pumpkin and cucumber seeds. The plants, being nurtured by agricultural experts and students, will soon go on public display. The seeds were provided by the Space Seeds Breeding Center at the China Aerospace Science & Technology Corp as part of youth scientific research activities.
