Tourism fair discounts on offer

Songjiang’s six most popular tourism sites are offering half-price admission all this week to celebrate the Shanghai International Tourism Festival that started on Saturday.
The sites are: Shanghai Chenshan Botanic Garden, half-price admission at 30 yuan (US$4.7); Happy Valley theme park, discount entry at 115 yuan, Yuehu Sculpture Park, discount at 60 yuan; Shanghai Fangta Tower Park, discount at 6 yuan; Zuibai Pond Park, discount at 6 yuan; and the Shanghai Film Park, discount at 40 yuan.
The Chenshan Botanic Garden will also offer visitors free water, umbrellas and wheelchairs, among other conveniences, to ensure a pleasant garden tour.
Happy Valley will offer special entry fee discounts this month. Though the end of September, university students can get a 120-yuan admission if they book the tickets on the park’s official website or on the Weibo account via their smartphones.
From September 12-30, Songjiang locals with their ID cards or valid temporary residence permits will receive half-price admission at the Happy Valley park.
The Happy Valley night safari is open every night this month from 5:30-9pm, with an 80 yuan admission.
