SONGJIANG District was a hot tourism destination during this recent Spring Festival holidays.
District attractions, including Sheshan Hill Resort Park, Chenshan Botanic Garden and Happy Valley amusement park, hosted more than 166,600 people, who spent about 9.6 million yuan (US$1.54 million). The number of visitors increased by 12.5 percent from a year earlier, while revenue edged up 3.2 percent. Occupancy at the district's 10 top hotels increased by 2.5 percent.
