Enjoy a festival of Chinese flavors
THE Shangri-La Group is launching a nation wide culinary campaign “A Festival of Chinese Flavors” from May 15 to 19.
A total of 18 master chefs skilled at six Chinese culinary traditions will travel to 18 Shangri-La hotels and resorts across China during the festival, bringing their signature cuisine including Cantonese, Huaiyang and Sichuan as well as Cantonese dim sum and Peking roast duck.
For example, chef So Lam Yik from the Kerry Hotel, Hong Kong will travel to the Shangri-La Hotel in Yangzhou to present his signature Hong Kong-style barbecue dishes, while chef Peng Yong from the Shangri-La in Chengdu will be serving spicy Sichuan cuisine at the Shangri-La in Guangzhou.
