鈥楥himera鈥 by Zhou Xiaohu

“chimera,” a solo exhibition by artist Zhou Xiaohu, is on display at Minsheng Art Museum. Zhou is one of China’s leading contemporary artists and a pioneer when it comes to incorporating animation into art. He created a set of life-sized puppets for the theater group and filmed them in different locations across China, culminating in a live show at the exhibition opening. The puppet action is presented in videos. This synchronization of space and time compels visitors to focus on a core idea of the show, offering a montage from multiple perspectives.
