Giant water slide promises wet-and-wild fun

SLIDE the City is landing in Shanghai, bringing 1,000 feet of slick inflated vinyl to brighten the city’s streets and your summer.
The huge outdoor slide will be conveniently located in downtown Shanghai and can be as tall as a 60-story building when fully erected. Sliders can borrow a swim ring, or plunge headfirst down this thrilling ride.
To ensure maximum safety, organizers will set up different lanes for groups and single sliders. The ride also uses re-circulated water throughout the day to minimize waste.
Slide the City is a family friendly slip-and-slide water party event. Besides the enormous slide, there will be live music performance, game booths and, of course, delicious food and drinks. To add to the fun, visitors are encouraged to bring their own water toys — including buckets, floaties and squirt guns.
Slide the City has seen massive growth since its beginnings in the US in 2014. Since then, its helped thousands of families beat the summer heat in more than 200 cities around the world.
