Jury for Asian New Talent Award

• Jiang Yiyan (China, actress)

Derek Yee

Yee starred in more than 40 films from 1975 to 1984, including “Death Duel,” “Chivalrous Killer,” “Full Moon Scimitar” and “Buddha’s Palm.” In 1986, “The Lunatics,” his first film as a director, hit the top of box office of its genre. Many films directed by him, like “C’est la vie, mon chéri,” “Full Throttle,” “Viva Erotica,” “Lost in Time,” “One Nite in Mongkok,” “Protégé,” were nominated for multiple HKFA awards. Among those, “Viva Erotica” was shortlisted at the 47thBerlin International Film Festival.
