ON March 5, Lanlingyuan residents participated in a career fair in the neighborhood community.
The event had two sections: career advice and on site recruitment. Career experts gave advice to those struggling to find a job and provided training on how to handle themselves during job interviews.
Three companies were offering more than 30 jobs. The companies were mainly looking for salespeople, clerks and secretaries. More than 30 residents attended with 10 applying for a job.
It was the first time the district’s human resources and social security bureau offered direct employment assistance to a specific community. It will eventually be expanded to other communities.
