SCIS begins enrollment for summer camps

We are enrolling students who will have completed Nursery through Grade 2 during the 2014-2015 school year (date of birth ranging from November 1, 2006 through November 1, 2012). We also welcome non-SCIS students.
Hongqiao ECE campus
Our specialized summer camp program consists of developmentally appropriate activities, specifically designed with the early learner in mind. Our program includes games, sports, outdoor exploration, fun swims and water play, field trips, art, music and movement, drama, Mandarin language and culture, and free play. Children will be provided with various opportunities to work together, play, and have fun with their friends.
Full-day (8:30am-3:00pm) program costs 3,000 yuan (US$483) for each one-week session. Half-day (8:30am-12:30pm) program costs 2,000 yuan for each one-week session. Both full-day and half-day tuition includes lunch and all activity costs. Transportation is optional, and costs 500 yuan per child for each one-week of service.
Pudong Lower School
We have an action packed program of developmentally appropriate activities designed, including games, sports, outdoor play, swimming, field trips, art, music, language, Mandarin, culture, and free play. Children will be provided with various opportunities to work together, play, and have fun with their friends.
Full-day (8:00am-3:00pm) program costs 3,000 yuan for each one-week session. Half-day (8:00am-12:00pm) program costs 2,000 yuan for each one-week session. Both full-day and half-day tuition includes lunch and all activities/field trips. Transportation is optional, and costs 500 yuan/per child for each one-week of service. Bus routes will be determined at the end of the registration period.

Excellence Foundation Scholarship
In the spirit of encouraging and awarding merit, the SCIS Board of Directors has established the Excellence Foundation Scholarship. It is available to students in academics, arts, creative writing, technology, or virtually any co-curricular activity.
The scholarships cover up to 50 percent of the cost of attending school and are open to current 8th-11th grade students (going into 9th-12th grade). Aspiring candidates can find the scholarship application form online at www.scis-his.org. The scholarship committee consists of specialists from the faculty and leadership team best able to evaluate and select scholars. Competition for SCIS-HIS administered scholarships is keen.
