GRADE 5 students at Shanghai Community International School Pudong Lower School will take part in a science fair titled the Invention Convention on April 20. It is designed to promote the students' problem-solving and creative-thinking skills. The students follow a step-by-step process to invent an original product or develop a new method for doing something to improve their lives. The students will describe their work to judges and try to convince them that the world needs what they have invented. Judges will evaluate the students' invention. Awards will be presented in various categories.
