True equality can help us live in real harmony
TODAY, we still fight for equality. There are many inspirational women who have the platform to voice their beliefs and opinions, women such as Michelle Obama, Beyoncé Knowles and Adele Adkins.
They have the choice to remain voiceless and yet, they inspire the world (and most importantly the generation to come) and tell them that everyone, no matter what the gender, deserves the same respect and chances.
Even women who seem like they don’t have a voice, like Malala Yousafzai, fight hard for the right to be noticed and heard. The movement for women’s right is never stopping. It is always there. It is sad that women who have fought for so long have not yet obtained the same treatment as men.
To fix the difficult challenge that women face, we have to fix it as one, with one idea.
One of the key reasons I believe genders aren’t considered equal is because we are not all striving for it. If we did, the issue of inequality would no longer be a problem. We need to stop believing the lie that there is a better sex or a stronger sex. Men aren’t better than women and vice versa.
We all need to stop holding to the false notion we have been told since the Dark Ages. Once we dump the false ideas then we can live in real harmony.
