Ballet 鈥楯ane Eyre鈥

A ballet version of the novel “Jane Eyre” will be staged in the town. It was created by Shanghai Ballet in 2012. German choreographer Patrick De Bana and Chinese playwright Yu Rongjun retell the story of love, remorse and redemption by contemporary ballet. The bright spot of this production is to enrich the character Lady Bertha who is almost behind the scenes in the original novel.
