Going underground to city鈥檚 legendary past

ASIA’S first dungeon attraction — Shanghai Dungeon — offers an immersive adventure experience featuring some near-forgotten legends of the city.
The attraction is modeled on other locations by the popular worldwide entertainment brand of Merlin Entertainments. The Dungeons series was first launched in 1975 in York , England.
Shanghai Dungeon is the 10th following Amsterdam, Berlin, Blackpool, Edinburgh, Hamburg, London, San Francisco, Warwick and York.
At the 10 zones of the attraction, visitors can explore the legends of old Shanghai, have interactive experiences at an abandoned theater and take a thrilling 2.5-meter standing drop ride.
Professional comedians play different characters such as a fortune teller, antique shop owner and cleaner.
They also interact with visitors and present live acts at varied scenes full of distinctive Shanghai elements.
