Saxophone Quartet

French saxophone quartet Les Desaxes, on their first visit to China, will bring local audience a comic and innovative saxophone performance. They will give humorous and creative interpretation of classics, which is combined with diverse performing styles of theater, dance and singing. Founded in 1994, the quartet has presented more than 1,500 performances worldwide. More than 20 scores will be performed in the Shanghai concert, including Bach’s ‘Air on the G String,’ Beethoven’s ‘Symphony Destiny,’ Schubert’s ‘The Trout’ and Mozart’s ‘Turkish March.’ The film score from ‘Titanic’ Ñ ‘My Heart Will Go On’ will also be newly interpreted.
