Summer TV set to warm up the living room
An array of TV programs will be offered on the channels of Shanghai Media Group during the summer vacation.
The celebrity outdoor reality series 鈥淕o Fighting!鈥 is presenting the last three episodes of its fourth season on Dragon TV on Sunday evenings through July 15. The show pays tribute to the achievements of China鈥檚 reform and opening-up over the past 40 years.
Starting July 22, a new dancing reality show 鈥淪hake It Up鈥 will air on Dragon TV.
Around 21 stars, including actress Dilraba Dilmurat, singer Jolin Tsai and actor Huang Xuan, will perform with veteran dancers.
From July 1 to August 19, Toonmax TV will broadcast special episodes of its popular kids鈥 program 鈥淗ome Alone.鈥 It will take audiences to various light-hearted summer camps and activities.
A few documentary films and series covering the subjects of nature, culture and history will be presented on Documentary Channel.
Among them are Lu Chuan鈥檚 wildlife-themed documentary film 鈥淏orn in China鈥 and the second season of food documentary series 鈥淎 Bite of China.鈥
The Drama Channel will exhibit a series of Hollywood blockbusters, including 鈥淭he Avengers,鈥 鈥淢ission Impossible: Ghost Protocol鈥 and 鈥淪tar Trek.鈥
