Bubbly and edgy electronic vibe

THE weekend nights will sparkle with a VCP Champagne party tomorrow at Shanghai Rose on the Bund and live, electronic music at the Melting Pot (Bar 288) near Tian Zi Fang on Saturday.
The newly formed local electronic music band ?2(2's) will stage a sound carnival at the well-known Melting Pot live house.
The remixed electronic duo is Li Xin (J Lee), producer, guitarist, sampling and programming; and Hua Yanzhe (Robin), keyboard, sampling and programming.
The duo calls their style "urban sample beats" and uses the radical sign representing the "indescribable" music world.
On the same stage that night, another duo DesToys will stage. Shanghainese musician Liu Hua-zheng and Italian Eugenio Altieri formed this band to "destroy" their favorite music in common and create new "no-style" music.
Shanghai Rose on the Bund serves Veuve Clicquot (yellow label) at its Champagne Party tomorrow night, featuring lots of bubbling and spiraling glow-in-the-dark dancers. Veuve Clicquot was founded in 1772 and later made famous throughout Europe by Madame Clicquot.
