Duke and Duchess in town for wine dinner

A dinner organized by Chaine Des Rotisseurs at Renaissance Shanghai Yangtze Hotel was served to Duke Friedrich of Württemberg and his wife, Duchess Marie of Württemberg, and General Manager Mr Jürgen Sterkau, of Renaissance Shanghai Yangtze Hotel, delivered a warm welcoming speech to the guests of honor.
All dishes were paired with wines from the Duke’s vineyard. He was delighted to guide diners through the wines of his family’s estates in the state of Württemberg.
Chef Daniel’s modern interpretation of classic dishes with the finest ingredients like chanterelle mushrooms, frog legs, goose liver and apples paired well with the wines.
It was a memorable night.
