Heaven party to be 鈥榦ut there鈥 with space theme

TO provide something grand and special for the coming hot season, the “Heaven” summer party is returning.
Beginning next Friday, it marks the first time in three years that Angel Events Shanghai has organized it into a 3-day roll.
There will be three mega parties on three nights at ICON inside Shanghai Stadium on Lingling Road. Two themes will be featured — outer space and cartoon world.
“At Heaven, people will enjoy great music and gorgeous shows, dancing with different people and famous circuit artists at home and abroad,” says Ricky, an Australian promoter of Heaven. “They can also experience the diversified culture and inclusiveness of this city through the party.”
The organizer estimates that the main party will have about 2,000 people present and there would be over 4,000 people attending the overall iconic circuit event in China.
“We’ve thrown flower-themed and ocean-themed parties in past Heavens. Now, we would like to try something more creative and different,” says the promoter. “The main theme of this quarter’s Heaven is outer space, which is an attractive and interesting theme.
“It will remind people of how tiny we are in the universe. As human beings, we should be good to each other and live together in love and peace,” he adds.
The event will feature six international and famous Asian circuit DJs. DJ Massimo Paramour (UK), DJ Dan De Leon (US), DJ Alan Liao (Taiwan) and DJ Aven (Shanghai) will be guest players at the parties.
The party crowd can have opportunities to enjoy the different circuit music styles from Europe, the US and Asia over the three nights.
There will be five drag queens and more than 10 go-go dancers performing over three nights. They are from the US, Denmark and Japan.
“At the main party next Saturday, the dancers will dress up and act like aliens from the movie of ‘The Fifth Element’,” Ricky says.
“It will be very fascinating. Summer is a perfect season for circuit parties, not only because summer is a great season to visit Shanghai, but also it is a perfect season for boys to take their shirts off and show their hot and muscular bodies,” he says.
The closing party will focus on celebrating “World Children’s Day.”
