Hot dog lovers can now head straight to a restaurant called Dog House which opened in Xintiandi, Shanghai, and serves the American classic.
The express hot dog shop offers a fancier version than the simple combination of sliced bun and sausage. There are several choices, including a Philly hot dog with marinated beef and topped with mushrooms, jalapenos and crispy onions, and fusion style hot dogs like Mexican, Sichuan pepper or Korean kimchi.
There is also waffle fries with the choice of either cheese or chili topping.
